MED NOW's staff of board certified physicians, registered nurses and licensed X-ray technicians are available seven days a week from 8AM to 8PM.
Drs. Christopher J. Boreyko, Joel W. Kunkel and Barry C. Melton are members of the Fairfield County Medical Association, Connecticut State Medical Society and America Medical Association.
Christopher J. Boreyko, M.D.
Dr. Boreyko graduated from the medical school of the University of Buenos Aires. Prior to his retirement from Bridgeport Hospital, he was Senior Attending Physician in the Emergency Department and Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery (Emergency Medicine) at Yale University School of Medicine. Before joining Bridgeport Hospital, he practiced internal medicine with a sub-specialty in nephrology. Dr. Boreyko is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians, and a Diplomat of the American Board of Emergency Medicine. |

Megan P. Cody, PA-C
Ms. Cody graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Boston College where she gained membership to Psi Chi and the Golden Key National Honor Society. Following this, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Francis College in Loretto, PA in Physician Assistant Sciences. Prior to joining MED NOW in 2001, Ms. Cody served on the staff of Family Health Care Associates in Shelton, CT. Ms. Cody is member of the Connecticut Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She has been certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. |
Joel W. Kunkel, M.D.
Dr. Kunkel has been Medical Director of MED NOW since 1989. He received his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Prior to his retirement from Bridgeport Hospital, he was Senior Attending Physician in the Emergency Department and Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery (Emergency Medicine) at Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Kunkel is a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and a Diplomat of the American Board of Emergency Medicine. |

Barry C. Melton M.D.
Dr. Melton graduated from the East Carolina University School of Medicine, where he received the Family Medicine Award and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his residency at Bridgeport Hospital in 1992 and has been a member of the Stamford Hospital Pediatric Staff since 1991. Dr. Melton is a Diplomat of both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics. |
D. Eva Morocz, M.D.
Dr. Morocz received her medical degree Cum Laude from the Medical University of Pecs, Hungary. She completed her three year residency in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport Connecticut. Prior to joining MED NOW, Dr. Morocz worked as a primary care physician at a large internal medicine practice in Fairfield, Connecticut. In addition to English, Dr. Morocz speaks Hungarian. |
